I was in a car accident which caused me whiplash , the following day I settle. Can I change my mind by not signing the check or do I have to accept the settlement from the insurance company?

Answer: Did you verbally agree to settle? A verbal agreement is just as enforceable as a written agreement—just harder to prove.

If it is your word against the adjuster’s, maybe the insurance company will work with you.

Dealing with insurance companies after a car accident can sometimes become a long and drawn out situation that no one deserves to deal with. Make sure you have the right law firm who has handled cases similar to yours to hand your case. It can make all the difference.
